Job Description

Step into a rewarding contract position supporting K-12 students as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in a dynamic school environment near Corona, CA. This onsite opportunity runs from August 2026 through November 2026 and may be extended to cover a maternity leave. As part of a collaborative team, you'll help enrich student learning and wellbeing across multiple school sites.

Your responsibilities will focus on delivering therapy services that address a variety of typical COTA needs, assisting students in reaching their fullest potential. Youll work closely with educators and occupational therapists to implement and adapt treatment plans according to each students goals, ensuring a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Current state licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
  • Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with K-12 caseloads and individualized education programs (IEPs)
  • Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work on-site and travel between school locations if needed
  • Comfort with Zoom interviews and willingness to interview before 6/22 or after 7/13
  • Readiness to begin in August 2026 and commit to a full-time schedule

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct therapy services to students under the supervision of an occupational therapist
  • Collect data and document student progress according to school guidelines
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Adapt interventions and activities to meet diverse student needs
  • Contribute to a supportive and therapeutic school environment
