What We're Seeking:
- Valid COTA certification and current licensure in California
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting is preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for working with students, teachers, and families
- Ability to adapt quickly and work effectively with children with diverse disabilities
- Enthusiastic commitment to supporting educational and functional success for students
- Capability to manage caseloads across multiple school sites
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students based on IEP goals
- Collaborate with occupational therapists, teachers, and other professionals to develop strategies tailored to each child
- Document progress, write reports, and participate in IEP meetings as required
- Adapt activities and interventions to fit various learning environments and disability types
- Contribute to positive, inclusive learning environments that foster growth and confidence
- Maintain ethical standards and comply with all state and federal regulations
