Job Description

Key Qualifications:

  • Current Illinois licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA IL)
  • Experience working in school-based or pediatric settings preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct occupational therapy services to elementary students in a self-contained classroom setting
  • Follow established IEP goals and therapy plans under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support students daily participation and skill development
  • Monitor, document, and report student progress, adapting interventions as needed
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute input to support successful learning outcomes
