School-Based Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
Location: Phoenix AZ
Position Type: Full-Time | 20262027 School Year
We are actively seeking a dedicated and student-focused Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join a supportive school district in the Chandler area. This is a great opportunity to work alongside experienced therapists while making a direct impact on students functional independence and success in the classroom.
What Youll Do:
Provide occupational therapy services under the supervision of a licensed OT
Implement individualized treatment plans based on IEP goals
Support students with fine motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living activities
Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and school staff to support student outcomes
Maintain accurate session notes and documentation
What You Bring:
Associates degree from an accredited COTA program
Active Arizona COTA license (or ability to obtain)
School-based or pediatric experience preferred, but not required
Strong teamwork and communication skills
A hands-on, student-centered approach
