Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) School-Based Phoenix, AZ
Four full-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) positions are available in a school-based setting located in Phoenix, AZ. These contract roles require 35 guaranteed hours per week, with an immediate start and assignments extending through May 27, 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for COTAs passionate about working with school-aged children from kindergarten through 8th grade.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct occupational therapy services under the supervision of a licensed OT.
- Implement individualized OT treatment plans tailored to student needs.
- Assist in supervising the OT caseload and collaborate closely with OTs and special education teams.
- Complete timely and accurate daily therapy documentation and support IEP goal monitoring.
- Participate actively in team meetings and maintain confidentiality and professionalism in the school environment.
- Travel between multiple school sites as needed (travel time compensated).
Qualifications:
- Active Arizona Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant license.
- Valid Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.
- Experience in school-based occupational therapy preferred but not required.
- New graduates are encouraged to apply; support and supervision are provided.
- Ability to adapt to caseload models and various therapy spaces.
Location: Positions are located across multiple schools within Phoenix, AZ (zip codes 85017 and 85033), requiring potential travel between sites.
