Desired Experience & Qualifications:

  • Active NM Licensure required
  • Previous experience in a school setting strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of pediatric occupational therapy principles and techniques
  • Skilled in direct interventions, documentation, and report writing
  • Comfortable working as part of a multidisciplinary educational team
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct occupational therapy services to students as prescribed in their IEPs
  • Work closely with OTs and educators across multiple school sites (itinerant model)
  • Document and track student progress, maintaining thorough records and clear, timely reports
  • Assist in developing and implementing customized treatment plans
  • Participate in team meetings, parent conferences, and collaborative planning sessions
