Job Description

We are hiring a dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a full-time school-based opportunity in Buckeye, Arizona. This position will primarily serve students in a K-8 developmental program, with potential preschool support one day per week.

Job Information:

  • Location: Buckeye, AZ
  • Contract Dates: August 5, 2026 May 20, 2027
  • Hours: Full-time | 40 hours weekly
  • Daily Schedule: 7:30 AM 4:00 PM
  • School Assignment: Approximately 2 district sites
  • Caseload Type: Caseload model
  • Grade Levels: PreK-8

Duties Include:

  • Assist the supervising OT in delivering therapy services to students
  • Work with students on fine motor, sensory integration, and daily living skills
  • Support implementation of therapy strategies within classroom settings
  • Document student progress and participate in team collaboration
  • Foster student independence and functional success in the school environment

Requirements:

  • Current Arizona COTA license
  • Previous pediatric or school experience preferred
  • Ability to work effectively with students, staff, and families
