Job Description
We are hiring a dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a full-time school-based opportunity in Buckeye, Arizona. This position will primarily serve students in a K-8 developmental program, with potential preschool support one day per week.
Job Information:
- Location: Buckeye, AZ
- Contract Dates: August 5, 2026 May 20, 2027
- Hours: Full-time | 40 hours weekly
- Daily Schedule: 7:30 AM 4:00 PM
- School Assignment: Approximately 2 district sites
- Caseload Type: Caseload model
- Grade Levels: PreK-8
Duties Include:
- Assist the supervising OT in delivering therapy services to students
- Work with students on fine motor, sensory integration, and daily living skills
- Support implementation of therapy strategies within classroom settings
- Document student progress and participate in team collaboration
- Foster student independence and functional success in the school environment
Requirements:
- Current Arizona COTA license
- Previous pediatric or school experience preferred
- Ability to work effectively with students, staff, and families
