.A supportive PreK-8 district in Buckeye, Arizona is seeking a full-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for the 2026-2027 school year. This role will primarily support students in a self-contained developmental program with possible additional support at the preschool level.
Position Details:
- Location: Buckeye, AZ
- School Year: August 5, 2026 May 20, 2027
- Schedule: 40 hours per week
- Hours: 7:30 AM 4:00 PM
- School Sites: Approximately 2 sites within the district
- Student Population: PreK-8
- Caseload Model: Caseload-based
Responsibilities:
- Provide therapy services under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist
- Support students with developmental, sensory, and motor skill needs
- Assist with implementing individualized therapy plans and IEP goals
- Maintain documentation and collaborate with educational staff
- Help create a positive and supportive learning environment for students
Qualifications:
- Active Arizona COTA license required
- School-based or pediatric experience preferred
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
