Job Description

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students from PreK through 8th grade for the 26/27 school year, beginning in early August. This full-time position is designed for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) passionate about helping young learners achieve success in both their academic and personal growth. Bring your expertise in school-based occupational therapy to a dynamic educational setting located near Buckeye, AZ.

Qualifications:

  • Holds a current Arizona COTA license
  • Possession of a valid IVP fingerprint clearance card
  • Prior experience working in pediatric or school settings preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively with students, families, and team members
  • Skilled in adapting activities to meet diverse developmental needs

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and indirect occupational therapy services to students in PreK8th grade
  • Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and collaborate with occupational therapists, teachers, and school staff
  • Monitor student progress, document outcomes, and adjust therapy plans as needed
  • Develop creative, engaging activities that enhance fine motor, sensory processing, and daily living skills
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary evaluations
