Desired Qualifications:

• Active COTA certification and necessary occupational therapy licensure for Oklahoma
• Previous experience in pediatric or school-based occupational therapy is highly valued
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with students, teachers, and other support staff
• Strong organizational abilities and the adaptability to address diverse student needs
• A compassionate, patient-centered approach and a commitment to fostering inclusion

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement occupational therapy interventions under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist
• Conduct group and individual sessions targeting fine motor, sensory processing, and daily living skills necessary for school success
• Participate in developing, updating, and documenting Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals
• Maintain accurate, timely records and progress reports
• Consult regularly with educators and families to ensure consistent support and carryover of strategies
• Assist with the adaptation of classroom materials or activities to increase student participation
