Job Description

This contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) offers the chance to work onsite with a K-5 caseload, delivering services that help students succeed in their educational journeys. Youll be collaborating with educators and fellow professionals to foster an inclusive and supportive environment for young learners.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active Massachusetts SLPA license or applicable state credential is required
  • Prior experience serving elementary-aged students is preferred
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to adapt to various school settings and work with diverse student needs

Role Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy support to K-5 students under supervision of a licensed SLP
  • Assist with implementing individualized education program (IEP) goals
  • Document student progress and maintain accurate records
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student growth
  • Adapt strategies and materials to meet students developmental and learning needs
  • Rotate between elementary school buildings to support designated caseload
  • Step in as reliable leave coverage from September 29 through December 23
