Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid COTA certification and current state licensure (or eligibility)
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Familiarity with adaptive equipment and individualized education plans (IEPs) is a plus
Responsibilities:
- Assist occupational therapists in implementing IEP-directed therapy plans
- Provide direct, hands-on therapy to students as prescribed
- Document student progress, maintaining accurate and timely records
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student needs
- Modify activities and adapt materials to facilitate student participation and independence
- Participate in meetings and contribute to student evaluations and reports
