Job Description

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid COTA certification and current state licensure (or eligibility)
  • Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities
  • Familiarity with adaptive equipment and individualized education plans (IEPs) is a plus

Responsibilities:

  • Assist occupational therapists in implementing IEP-directed therapy plans
  • Provide direct, hands-on therapy to students as prescribed
  • Document student progress, maintaining accurate and timely records
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student needs
  • Modify activities and adapt materials to facilitate student participation and independence
  • Participate in meetings and contribute to student evaluations and reports
