This contract opportunity welcomes Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants seeking both full-time and part-time positions for the 2025-2026 academic year. Engage with diverse K-12 caseloads and collaborate with skilled professionals to enhance student outcomes across a range of ages and abilities.
Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license issued by the state of Pennsylvania
- Previous experience within school environments is valued
- Strong communication skills, compassion, and a collaborative mindset
- Ability to adapt therapy strategies to different age groups and learning styles
- Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation is a plus
- Commitment to supporting student independence and participation in daily school activities
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services in accordance with students educational plans
- Assist occupational therapists in developing and implementing individualized interventions
- Provide direct and consultative support to students and education teams
- Document services, progress, and outcomes with accuracy and timeliness
- Participate in multi-disciplinary meetings and contribute to ongoing student assessments
- Guide students in developing motor, sensory, and self-care skills relevant to their school routines
