Job Description
A full-time or part-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) position is available to provide specialized support to K-12 students during the 2025-2026 school year. This role involves delivering occupational therapy services designed to enhance students' functional skills and promote success in the classroom environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Working collaboratively with occupational therapists, educators, and families to implement individualized treatment plans.
- Managing a caseload of K-12 students with diverse needs.
- Conducting assessments and documentation in compliance with school guidelines.
- Supporting students in developing skills necessary for academic and social participation.
- Utilizing therapeutic techniques tailored to each student's goals.
Desired qualifications:
- Active Pennsylvania COTA license is required.
- Previous experience working within school settings strongly preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with children and multidisciplinary teams.
