Job Description

Exciting contract opportunity available for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant passionate about working in dynamic early childhood settings! As part of an interdisciplinary team, youll work closely with professionals from various backgrounds to develop and implement integrated services. Qualifications:

  • Current Illinois COTA license (required)
  • Experience with early childhood or preschool-aged students preferred
  • Comfortable working in an integrated, collaborative teaching model alongside other disciplines
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to adapt strategies to a variety of student needs and settings
  • Knowledge of district or state-specific compliance regulations

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy support to early childhood students within a classroom-based, play-focused framework
  • Collaborate daily with other educators and therapists to blend therapies and instruction seamlessly
  • Participate in individual and group therapy sessions tailored to developmental and academic goals
  • Maintain thorough documentation, progress notes, and required reports
  • Foster student independence and engagement through hands-on, interactive activities
  • Support individualized education program (IEP) goals as part of a team approach
