Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Active COTA certification and licensure in Connecticut
• Previous experience working with pediatric populations, especially in school or educational settings, is highly valued
• Strong communication skills when collaborating with occupational therapists, educators, and families
• Adaptable and resourceful, able to adjust strategies to support a diverse student population

Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist, targeting IEP goals and supporting students functional performance in the classroom
• Assist with assessments, data collection, and progress monitoring to inform individualized intervention plans
• Implement therapeutic activities designed to enhance fine motor, sensory-processing, and adaptive skills
• Communicate student progress and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to ensure holistic, student-centered support
• Maintain detailed and compliant documentation of services provided and student achievements
