Ideal candidates will have:
- Current Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) credentials
- Experience providing occupational therapy services in school or pediatric environments preferred
- Ability to develop and implement creative treatment strategies individualized to student needs
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with teachers, administrators, and families
- Knowledge of IEP processes and documentation best practices
- Strong organization and time-management skills
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting the supervising Occupational Therapist in delivering direct and consultative occupational therapy services
- Supporting students with fine motor, sensory, and self-care skill development within classroom routines
- Collecting and documenting data to track student progress and inform interventions
- Contributing to IEP meetings and implementing therapy goals in partnership with multidisciplinary teams
- Preparing therapeutic materials and adapting learning environments to enhance student access and participation
- Maintaining accurate records in compliance with district and federal requirements

Compensation for this position ranges from $20.00 to $46.00. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals. Full details of our healthcare benefits plan can be found here. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
