Your expertise in occupational therapy will be applied in a dynamic school-based setting, collaborating with educational teams and delivering care that helps students thrive. With a 40-hour workweek over five days, youll have the chance to establish meaningful connections and see the impact of your efforts over the course of the school year.
Qualifications:
- Valid AZ COTA license
- IVP fingerprint clearance card
- Experience in school or pediatric settings strongly preferred
- Familiarity with educational service models for students with diverse needs
- Ability to adapt therapeutic strategies for multiple age groups, from early childhood through middle school
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Responsibilities:
- Implement occupational therapy interventions under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist
- Work directly with students to support achievement of educational and developmental goals
- Document student progress and assist with evaluations and treatment planning
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to optimize student support
- Participate in school meetings and contribute observations and recommendations
- Adjust interventions and materials to meet each students individual needs
