Key Qualifications:

• Current state licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
• Previous experience in a school-based setting strongly preferred
• Passion for working with K-12 students across a variety of needs and backgrounds
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with educators, families, and other specialists
• Comfortable engaging in virtual interviews via Zoom
• Ability to start promptly at the beginning of the academic year

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy support under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist
• Assist with the development and implementation of student-focused therapy plans
• Maintain clear, timely documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to address the holistic needs of each student
• Adapt therapy approaches to fit developmental levels and individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Provide ongoing communication with families and staff regarding student progress
