Qualifications:

• Current certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
• Alaska state licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
• Previous pediatric and/or school-based experience preferred

• Ability to manage time effectively and maintain accurate documentation

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist supervising Occupational Therapist in delivering tailored interventions to students
• Carry out treatment plans focused on improving daily living, sensory motor, and functional skills required for classroom participation
• Observe, record, and report students progress
• Collaborate regularly with teachers, therapists, and family members to promote student integration and success
• Support individualized education plans (IEPs) and help adapt learning environments as needed
• Participate in team meetings and ongoing staff development
