Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity serving K-12 students for the 2026-2027 school year in the Allentown, PA area. This full-time role is designed for Occupational Therapists and Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants passionate about supporting students' growth and independence. With a 35-hour workweek, you'll collaborate with educational teams to deliver impactful therapy services to a diverse student population.
Qualifications:
- Current and valid Pennsylvania COTA or OT license
- Previous experience in school settings is highly desirable
- Broad skill set spanning COTA Healthcare, OT Home Health, and OT School
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation abilities
- Dedication to evidence-based, student-centered practices
- Ability to adeptly manage K-12 caseloads
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students across varying grade levels
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
- Conduct assessments and re-evaluations to inform interventions
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary school staff
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records
- Participate actively in IEP and team meetings
