We are seeking passionate, licensed Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTA) eager to make a difference in a dynamic educational environment. Multiple positions are availableboth full time and part timeoffering you flexibility in your work schedule while delivering vital therapeutic services to students.
Ideal candidates will have a strong background in pediatric occupational therapy within schools or healthcare settings, and a commitment to helping every student thrive. Your specialized skills will empower students of all ages across various learning and developmental needs.
Qualifications:
- Current and active PA COTA license
- Experience working in school settings or with pediatric populations preferred
- Strong interpersonal and collaborative abilities with teachers, staff, and families
- Adaptability to manage varying caseloads throughout K-12 levels
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy services as directed by an OT in accordance with students IEPs
- Deliver interventions to assist students in meeting educational and developmental goals
- Maintain detailed documentation and progress records
- Collaborate with educational teams to support student participation and progress
- Communicate effectively with families regarding strategies, progress, and outcomes
- Assist in evaluating students and recommending appropriate therapeutic supports
