Your expertise will support a nurturing, safe environment while monitoring and assisting a child with a seizure disorder.
Key Qualifications:
- Active CNA license and current CPR certification required
- Previous experience with pediatric populations essential
- Skilled in observing and documenting student health, including seizure activity
- Comfortable accompanying students on school transportation and ensuring their safety during transit
- Compassionate, communicative, and professional demeanor
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct care and support for a preschool student during school hours and bus rides
- Monitor and document any changes in the students condition, with particular attention to seizure management
- Coordinate with teachers, school nurses, and parents to ensure continuity of care
- Participate in daily routines, assisting with transfers, mobility, and basic needs
- Provide reassurance and comfort, promoting the students engagement and well-being throughout the day
Position Details:
- Contract assignment, Monday through Friday
- Shift hours: approximately 7:45am 11:15am
- Individual caseloadfocuses exclusively on one student
