Provide dedicated care as a Certified Nurse Assistant supporting a preschool student in a school setting in Johnston, RI. This contract position requires compassionate, attentive assistance, including monitoring a seizure disorder and accompanying the student during bus transportation to and from school.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver personalized care and supervision to one preschool student with special health needs.
- Monitor the students seizure condition closely and respond appropriately to any incidents.
- Accompany the student on bus transportation to ensure safety throughout the commute.
- Collaborate with school staff to maintain a supportive and secure environment.
- Maintain accurate documentation related to the students health and daily care.
Qualifications:
- Current CNA license and CPR certification required.
- Experience working with young children, preferably in a school or clinical setting.
- Ability to monitor medical conditions such as seizure disorders effectively.
- Strong communication skills and the capacity to work collaboratively with educators and healthcare professionals.
Position Details:
- Location: Johnston, RI
- Hours: Monday through Friday, approximately 7:45 AM to 11:15 AM.
- Caseload: One preschool student.
