A part-time opportunity is available for a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) with experience in a K-12 school setting, specifically within a transportation role. This contract position supports an elementary-aged student by providing attentive care during van transportation.
Location: Putnam, CT
Duration: ASAP through June (Contract)
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, morning pick-up at 7:10 am, return at 9:15 am
- Monday to Thursday, afternoon pick-up at 12:50 pm, return at 3:30 pm
- Friday, afternoon pick-up at 10:50 am
Responsibilities include:
- Riding the van with the student during morning and afternoon transportation to ensure safety and provide necessary care
- Assisting with any medical or personal needs of the student while in transit
- Collaborating with school staff and family to maintain consistent support
Qualifications:
- Valid Connecticut CNA license required
- Experience as a CNA and/or paraprofessional in a school environment preferred
- Ability to work part-time hours and reliable transportation to and from the assignment
