Job Description

A Scottsdale, AZ-based opportunity is available for a skilled female Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) to provide dedicated one-on-one care within a high school setting. This contract role is scheduled from January through May and requires comfort with specialized nursing tasks, including straight catheterization twice daily.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized CNA support for a female student requiring 1:1 care
  • Perform catheterization and routine health monitoring confidently and safely
  • Collaborate with the existing supervisory team, including paraeducators and licensed nurses
  • Maintain compliance with all health and safety protocols relevant to the school environment

Qualifications:

  • Current Arizona CNA certification
  • Valid IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
  • CPR and First Aid certifications (both required, not CPR or BLS alone)
  • Experience working with pediatric or adolescent populations preferred
  • Ability to perform clinical procedures such as catheterization adeptly
  • Reliable and compassionate with strong interpersonal skills

Location & Schedule:

  • Position based onsite at a school in Peoria, AZ (within easy reach of Scottsdale)
  • Up to 35 hours per week from early January to late May
  • Contract assignment with potential for renewal, reflecting consistent past renewals
