Certified Nurse Assistant Position in Johnston, RI

This opportunity is ideal for a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) seeking a contract role within a school setting supporting a pre-kindergarten student. The role involves providing essential nursing assistance and health monitoring during school hours.

Qualifications:

  • Current CNA license
  • CPR certification
  • Experience working with young children and familiarity with seizure disorder management is preferred

Location:

  • Johnston, Rhode Island

Responsibilities:

  • Provide nursing care and health monitoring for one pre-kindergarten student
  • Accompany student on bus transportation to and from school while monitoring for seizure activity
  • Ensure the students health and safety needs are met during assigned hours
  • Maintain clear communication with school staff and family regarding student health and any incidents

Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday
  • Approximately 7:45 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. daily
