A Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) position is available on a contract basis supporting a Pre-K student in a school setting located in Johnston, RI. This role requires a dedicated CNA to provide specialized care and monitoring while accompanying the student to and from school via bus transportation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care and assistance to a Pre-K student with a seizure disorder.
- Monitor and support the student during bus transportation to and from school.
- Collaborate with educational and healthcare staff to maintain a safe and supportive environment.
- Ensure accurate documentation and timely communication regarding the students condition and needs.
Qualifications:
- Current CNA license.
- CPR certification.
- Experience working with young children, preferably in an educational or caregiving environment.
- Ability to manage seizure disorders and respond appropriately in emergency situations.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Schedule and Hours:
- Monday through Friday.
- Approximately 7:45 AM to 11:15 AM daily.
