Job Description

A Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) position is available on a contract basis supporting a Pre-K student in a school setting located in Johnston, RI. This role requires a dedicated CNA to provide specialized care and monitoring while accompanying the student to and from school via bus transportation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct care and assistance to a Pre-K student with a seizure disorder.
  • Monitor and support the student during bus transportation to and from school.
  • Collaborate with educational and healthcare staff to maintain a safe and supportive environment.
  • Ensure accurate documentation and timely communication regarding the students condition and needs.

Qualifications:

  • Current CNA license.
  • CPR certification.
  • Experience working with young children, preferably in an educational or caregiving environment.
  • Ability to manage seizure disorders and respond appropriately in emergency situations.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Schedule and Hours:

  • Monday through Friday.
  • Approximately 7:45 AM to 11:15 AM daily.
