In this full-time, contract opportunity, youll work one-on-one supporting a student with medical fragilities, ensuring their safety and well-being during the school day. Desired Qualifications:
- Active CNA (Certified Nurse Assistant) license
- Previous experience working in schools or pediatric settings preferred
- Skilled in monitoring and assisting with medical needs and daily living activities
- Strong communication skills with a compassionate, patient-focused attitude
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, nurses, and other school staff
- Reliable and able to maintain confidentiality
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct, 1:1 care and supervision for a student with complex medical needs
- Assist with mobility, feeding, personal hygiene, and specialized health care procedures as required
- Monitor and respond to the students medical status, communicating any concerns to appropriate personnel
- Work closely with educational staff to support the students participation and inclusion in school activities
- Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and observations during the school day
- Support positive interactions and help foster independence whenever possible
This contract role offers a pay rate of $24 per hour, combining meaningful work with a supportive setting and predictable full-time hours.
