Job Description

A position is available for a Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) or Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) to provide dedicated support to a medically complex 7th-grade student in a middle school setting. This contract role is based in Nashua, NH, with a schedule from 7:45 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday, during the current school year.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one nursing care and support to the student throughout the school day
  • Monitor and assist with the students medical needs and treatments as required
  • Collaborate closely with school staff and healthcare professionals to ensure a safe and supportive learning environment
  • Maintain clear and accurate documentation of care and observations
  • Respond promptly to any changes in the student's condition

Desired Qualifications:

  • Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) or Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) certification
  • Experience working with medically complex pediatric patients, preferably within a school setting
  • Strong observation and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage health care needs discreetly and professionally
  • Comfortable working one-on-one with a student over extended time periods
