A full-time Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) position is available at a middle school in Lowell, MA. This contract role extends through the current school year (CSY), providing an opportunity to deliver essential healthcare support within an educational setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care and assistance to students requiring medical support
- Monitor and record vital signs, observe students health conditions, and report any changes to the nursing staff
- Assist with personal care activities and ensure a safe, clean environment for students
- Collaborate with school nurses, teachers, and staff to address health concerns and emergencies
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all healthcare regulations and school policies
Qualifications and Skills:
- Current certification as a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) required
- Experience working with children or in a school environment preferred
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students, staff, and families
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism
- Reliable, compassionate, and detail-oriented approach to student care
