A full-time Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) position is available to provide dedicated 1:1 care for a student within an elementary school setting. This role requires attentiveness to the unique needs of a child with mild to moderate care requirements, including supporting seizure management under medical guidance. The assignment runs from August through June, aligning with the school year calendar.

Location:

• Hazleton, PA, with consideration for candidates in Wilkes-Barre and Scranton, PA.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver compassionate, attentive 1:1 nursing support to a student in a center-based school environment.
• Monitor and assist with the students health needs, including seizure observation and response as recommended by medical professionals.
• Collaborate closely with school personnel and healthcare team to maintain a safe, supportive learning environment.
• Adhere to school district protocols, including required fingerprinting and onboarding processes.

Qualifications:

• Current Pennsylvania CNA license is mandatory.
• Pediatric experience, especially working with school-aged children, is strongly preferred.
• Ability to respond effectively to medical needs, with experience supporting students with seizures desirable.
• Comfortable engaging in a school environment and maintaining professional communication within a multidisciplinary team.

• Position is a contract role for the school year.
