Job Description

A female Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) is needed for a contract position at a high school in Glendale, AZ. This role involves providing one-on-one support to a female student requiring skilled care, including assistance with straight catheterization twice daily. Supervision is provided on site by school staff, ensuring a supportive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver personalized care and health support to a female student during school hours
  • Perform straight catheterization twice daily with proficiency and comfort
  • Collaborate closely with the supervising paraeducator, RBT, CNA, or LPN on site
  • Maintain accurate documentation of care and communicate effectively with the team as needed

Qualifications:

  • Current Arizona CNA certification
  • Valid IVP Fingerprint Card
  • CPR and First Aid certifications (both required, not CPR or BLS alone)
  • Experience working with pediatric or adolescent populations preferred
  • Comfortable managing catheter care independently
  • Female candidates only, as required by client

Position Details:

  • Location: Glendale, Arizona (assigned to Vistancia Elementary in nearby Peoria)
  • Contract duration: January 6, 2026 to May 21, 2026
  • Up to 35 hours per week, school schedule aligned
  • Onsite work only
  • No formal interview required; decisions made promptly upon resume review
  • Minimal training provided with opportunity to connect with current CNA for student-specific information
  • This position often renews annually for eligible candidates
