Make a meaningful impact as a Certified Nurse Assistant by supporting a pre-kindergarten student with specialized care needs. This contract opportunity near Cranston, RI, is perfect for compassionate and dedicated professionals who have pediatric experience and are seeking a part-time morning schedule. Youll provide one-on-one care, including riding the bus with the student to monitor a seizure disorder, contributing directly to their safety and well-being throughout their school day.
Qualifications:
- Active CNA license and current CPR certification
- Demonstrated experience working with pediatric or early childhood populations
- Reliable, attentive, and comfortable providing individualized care
- Ability to work cooperatively with school staff and transportation personnel
- Experience monitoring seizure disorders strongly preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Accompany and supervise a pre-k student during bus transportation to and from school
- Monitor and respond to signs of seizure activity, following established care protocols
- Provide hands-on support and care throughout the morning school hours
- Communicate regularly with nursing, teaching, and support teams regarding student condition and updates
- Maintain accurate documentation related to daily care and any incidents
- Foster a safe and encouraging environment tailored to the students needs
Schedule:
- MondaytoFriday, 7:45am to 11:15am (approximately)
