This opportunity seeks a Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) or Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) to provide dedicated support for a medically complex 7th-grade student in a middle school setting. The position is a contract role for the current school year (CSY), based in Concord, NH, offering a structured Monday through Friday schedule from 7:45 AM to 2:30 PM.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver one-on-one nursing care and support to a medically complex student throughout the school day
- Monitor and manage the student's health needs, including medication administration and emergency response readiness
- Collaborate with school healthcare staff and educators to ensure a safe and supportive learning environment
- Maintain accurate health records and communicate effectively with parents and healthcare providers as needed
Qualifications:
- Current LNA or CNA certification required
- Experience working with medically complex children preferred
- Strong observational and communication skills
- Ability to respond promptly to health emergencies
- Comfortable working independently in a school-based healthcare role
