This full-semester contract opportunity is seeking a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) to provide dedicated one-on-one care for a middle school student with fragile diabetes. The role requires a compassionate professional experienced in diabetic monitoring to support the health and safety needs of this student throughout the school day. Located in Brick, NJ, this position offers full-time hours within a single school setting from late February through mid-June.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver personalized nursing care to a diabetic middle school student on a 1:1 basis
- Monitor blood glucose levels and administer care as needed, following established protocols
- Collaborate with school staff to ensure a safe and supportive environment for the student
- Maintain accurate health records and communicate any concerns promptly
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) certification
- Proven experience monitoring and caring for diabetic patients, preferably in a school or pediatric setting
- Ability to provide compassionate, confidential care in an educational environment
- Strong communication skills and professionalism
Location: Brick, New Jersey
Duration: Full Semester Contract (February 25 June 17)
Hours: Full-time, typically aligned with standard school hours
Caseload: One student
