Job Description

A full-time Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) position is available onsite in Smyrna, Delaware, focused on supporting students with severe disabilities and autism, ages 2 to 22. This contract role requires a dedicated professional to deliver specialized behavioral services within a school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) to identify student behavior needs
  • Develop and implement Behavior Support Plans (BSPs) tailored to individual student goals
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate behavior objectives into IEPs
  • Provide direct behavioral support to school staff and students
  • Participate actively in crisis intervention, including de-escalation strategies as part of the crisis team
  • Maintain accurate data collection to monitor student progress and inform interventions

Qualifications:

  • Active Delaware BCBA licensure/certification is mandatory; confirmation required upon application
  • Experience working in school settings with students exhibiting severe disabilities and autism
  • Proven skills in crisis management and de-escalation techniques
  • Strong background in conducting FBAs and developing BSPs
  • Ability to work onsite full time, Monday through Friday (37.5 hours per week)

Location: This role is based onsite in Smyrna, DE, with an expected assignment duration through June 12, 2026.
