Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid certification or license in Behavior Analysis, Special Education, Psychology, or related field (BCBA or similar preferred)
- Demonstrated experience designing and implementing behavior intervention plans in school settings
- Strong knowledge of evidence-based behavioral interventions and positive behavior supports
- Excellent data collection, analysis, and reporting skills
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities, with the ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
- Flexibility and adaptability in dynamic school environments
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct functional behavior assessments and develop individualized support plans for students exhibiting challenging behaviors
- Collaborate with teachers, aides, and families to ensure consistent implementation of behavior strategies
- Monitor student progress, adjust interventions, and provide training/guidance to school staff
- Document observations, maintain detailed records, and prepare regular progress reports
- Support the development of classroom-wide behavior management systems
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute behavioral expertise to student planning
