This itinerant position for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst offers the chance to collaborate across multiple classrooms in a district committed to equity and positive outcomes. Youll consult and provide direct support in settings identified for their higher student suspension rates, particularly for students of color with disabilities. The teams shared focus centers on reducing disciplinary exclusions and cultivating more inclusive learning environments, making your input critical on this journey of transformation.
Preferred Experience & Qualifications:
- Active and valid BCBA national certification is required
- Strong experience delivering behavior analytic services in K-12 school settings
- Demonstrated commitment to culturally responsive practices and supporting diverse populations
- Record of success applying data-driven strategies to reduce suspensions or exclusionary discipline
- Ability to partner effectively with classroom staff, administrators, and families
- Flexibility to travel between assigned school sites
- Strong organizational, consultation, and training skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide behavior analytic consultation and assessment for classrooms with higher suspension rates
- Develop, implement, and model effective behavior intervention plans
- Coach and support teachers and staff in positive behavior strategies
- Collect and analyze data to inform ongoing program improvement
- Engage in collaborative planning to advance district-wide equity goals
- Support opportunities related to extended school year (ESY) programming
