Step into an impactful opportunity working as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst in a dynamic school-based setting near Plano, TX. This full-time contract position runs from August 11, 2026, through May 28, 2027, with hours totaling 37.5 per week. As an itinerant specialist, you'll support various campuses throughout the district, responding flexibly to evolving needs. Your expertise will benefit both general education and special education students, and youll take a leading role in training staff and supervising Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs).
Key Qualifications:
- Current, active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) license issued by the state of Texas
- Demonstrated school-based experience; candidates with this background are strongly preferred
- Comfortable providing behavioral services to a diverse PK12 population
- Experience training staff and supervising RBTs
- Ability to work collaboratively across multiple campuses
- Must complete TEA fingerprinting (unless recently completed for a Texas public school district); clearance required before start date
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct behavioral assessments and develop intervention plans for both special and general education students
- Deliver training to school staff on behavioral strategies and best practices
- Supervise and support RBTs to maintain program fidelity
- Travel to various school sites as needed and adapt to changing district priorities
- Maintain detailed records and ensure compliance with district and state requirements
- Serve as a behavioral resource to staff and administration
This contract role offers a competitive rate based on level of experience as a school-based BCBA, with pay ranging from $50$65 per hour.
