Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Experience as a Behavior Specialist, Paraprofessional, or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) in a school or similar environment
• Certification as an RBT or equivalent is highly preferred
• Strong understanding of behavioral support strategies and applied behavior analysis (ABA)
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, administrators, and other support staff
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Passion for working with children and adolescents, especially those with behavioral or developmental challenges
• Dependable, adaptable, and committed to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with students to implement individualized behavior intervention plans
• Support classroom teachers and special education staff in managing behaviors and promoting academic engagement
• Collect data on student progress, monitor outcomes, and provide relevant feedback to the educational team
• Assist with developing and adapting strategies that address student needs and promote positive behaviors
• Participate in training sessions, team meetings, and professional development as needed
• Foster a safe, supportive, and inclusive school environment
