Key qualifications:

  • Experience as a Behavior Specialist, Paraprofessional, or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
  • Demonstrated understanding of applied behavior analysis principles
  • Familiarity with behavior intervention plans and positive behavioral supports
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a school setting
  • Relevant certifications or credentials preferred, such as RBT or equivalent
  • Prior experience working with children or adolescents in an educational or therapeutic setting is highly valued

What youll do:

  • Implement individualized behavior intervention plans in classroom and small group settings
  • Collect data and monitor student progress on targeted goals
  • Provide direct, hands-on support to students with behavioral or social-emotional needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and administrators to support student success
  • Assist with crisis prevention and de-escalation strategies, when necessary
  • Support the creation of a positive, inclusive, and safe school environment
  • Participate in meetings, professional development, and ongoing training as required
