  • Experience as a Behavior Specialist, Paraprofessional, or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
  • Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) preferred, or significant relevant school-based experience
  • Ability to implement behavior intervention strategies and personalized support plans
  • Skillful communicatorable to build rapport with students, staff, and families
  • Commitment to supporting diverse learners in inclusive settings
  • Collaborative team player who thrives in a fast-paced educational setting

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct support to students with behavioral, emotional, or developmental needs within the classroom and school community
  • Collaborate with educators, school psychologists, and special education staff to implement individualized education and behavior plans
  • Model positive behavior and offer guidance to foster student engagement and success
  • Monitor student progress, document data, and report insightfully on behavior interventions
  • Utilize de-escalation strategies and proactive interventions to help manage challenging behaviors
  • Participate in professional development and team meetings as required by the assignment
