Job Description

An opportunity is available for an in-person Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to support K-12 students during the 2025-2026 school year in Barre, VT. This full-time, contract position involves working with diverse student caseloads across multiple elementary and middle schools within the community.

Location:

  • Barre, Vermont
  • Schools served include Barre City Elementary & Middle School and Barre Town Middle & Elementary School

Duration & Hours:

  • Contract position aligned with the school calendar
  • Tentative dates: ASAP start through June 19, 2026
  • Full-time schedule at 37.5 hours per week

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide behavior analysis services and support in accordance with state requirements
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans for students
  • Collaborate closely with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to promote positive student outcomes
  • Collect and analyze data to guide decision-making and ensure progress toward goals
  • Attend meetings and trainings as needed to maintain compliance and professional development

Qualifications:

  • Must meet all applicable state credentialing requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred; other educational backgrounds with at least two years relevant experience will also be considered
  • Valid BCBA certification or eligibility strongly desired
  • Demonstrated experience working with K-12 student populations is a plus
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills required for collaboration with school staff and families
