Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Psychology, Education, Counseling, or a related field
- Professional certification or licensure relevant to behavioral intervention in educational settings (preferred)
- Proven experience supporting students with social, emotional, or behavioral challenges
- Strong understanding of behavior intervention plans, data analysis, and progress monitoring
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively with students, teachers, support staff, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans for students
- Collaborate with teachers and support staff to create positive learning environments
- Provide direct support and coaching to students, fostering emotional regulation and positive decision-making
- Train and consult with school personnel on best practices in behavior management
- Lead or participate in problem-solving meetings and contribute to the development of Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs)
- Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports for compliance and evaluation purposes
