Job Description

Exciting opportunities are available for an experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to support behavior programs in a dynamic, itinerant capacity across multiple educational settings near Minneapolis, MN. This contract position, available from now through June 11, 2026, is integral to a dedicated initiative focused on reducing suspension and dismissal rates for Black students with disabilities. Youll consult with a highly collaborative team in four district classrooms, and potentially Extended School Year programs, where your expertise will directly influence equitable outcomes for students.

Qualifications and Preferred Experience

  • Active, valid national BCBA certification required
  • Prior experience in school-based behavioral support or consultation strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret behavior data to guide practical interventions
  • Commitment to educational equity and supporting students from diverse backgrounds
  • Outstanding communication and teamwork skills
  • Flexibility and adaptability to serve in varying classroom environments

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as an onsite consultant and provider of behavioral support in classrooms with higher-than-average suspension rates
  • Implement evidence-based strategies and intervention plans for students with disabilities
  • Mentor and collaborate with educators and related service professionals
  • Collect and interpret behavior data to inform continuous improvement
  • Promote positive outcomes while aligning with district-wide equity goals
  • Remain current on legal, ethical, and practice standards relevant to behavior analysis in schools
