Job Description

A Behavior Specialist with BCBA certification is needed for an elementary school setting in Middletown, DE. This full-time contract position runs from ASAP through June 12, 2026, with an on-site schedule from 8:45 AM to 4:15 PM, totaling 37.5 hours per week. The specialist will support all students who do not have a classification of Autism within the school.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required
  • Delaware licensure; school experience preferred
  • Strong skills in behavior support and intervention strategies for elementary-aged students
  • Ability to work collaboratively with school staff and families
  • Commitment to on-site presence throughout the contract duration

Role Responsibilities:

  • Provide behavior analytic support and interventions across the elementary school for students without Autism classification
  • Conduct assessments, develop behavior plans, and monitor progress
  • Collaborate with educators and other professionals to ensure effective implementation of strategies
  • Maintain documentation and compliance with school and state guidelines
  • Participate in team meetings and professional development activities as needed
