Job Description
A full-time Behavior Specialist with MA BCBA licensure is needed to support preschool and kindergarten students within an elementary school setting in Somerville, MA. This contract position runs from ASAP through June, with working hours approximately from 7:45 AM to 3:30 PM, totaling 35 hours per week. The role focuses on serving a caseload of young children ages 3 to 6 in both public school classrooms and community partner settings, particularly within ASD programs.

Key Responsibilities:
- Implement evidence-based behavioral interventions and supports for preschool and kindergarten students with ASD.
- Collaborate with educators, school psychologists, and related professionals to develop and monitor individualized program plans.
- Conduct assessments and analyze behavioral data to guide intervention strategies.
- Provide training and coaching to school staff and community partners on behavioral techniques and strategies.
- Support inclusive educational practices to promote student engagement and learning.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Licensed MA Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
- Experience working with young children ages 3 to 6 in school or community-based ASD programs.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills for working with multidisciplinary teams.
- Knowledge of behavioral assessment tools and intervention methodologies suitable for early childhood education.
