Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification preferred
  • Previous experience as a Behavior Specialist, Paraprofessional, or similar role in educational environments
  • Strong knowledge of behavioral intervention strategies and positive behavior supports
  • Capable of managing challenging behaviors with patience and empathy
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with teachers, staff, and families
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelors degree in a related field is a plus

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement behavior intervention plans under supervision of board-certified behavior analysts or special education teams
  • Provide direct support to students individually and in group settings
  • Track and report student progress on goals and objectives
  • Work with classroom teachers to adapt instructional materials and support inclusion
  • Assist students with daily routines and encourage participation in educational activities
  • Foster a safe, respectful, and positive environment for learners of all abilities
