Qualifications & Experience:

  • Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is highly valued
  • Previous experience as a Behavior Specialist or Paraprofessional in an educational or clinical setting
  • Strong understanding of behavioral intervention strategies and techniques
  • Ability to follow and implement individualized education or behavior intervention plans
  • Compassionate, patient, and adaptable approach to working with students of diverse needs
  • Professional communication and collaboration skills with teachers, staff, and families

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement behavioral intervention strategies under the supervision of school staff or Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs)
  • Work one-on-one or in small groups with students requiring behavioral support
  • Record and track student progress and behavioral data with accuracy
  • Communicate progress and challenges to appropriate school personnel and participate in team meetings
  • Assist with classroom management, transitions, and support positive learning environments
  • Uphold confidentiality and adhere to established policies and procedures to support student well-being
