Desired Qualifications:
- Previous experience supporting children or adolescents with behavioral or emotional needs in a school or clinical setting
- Valid certification or degree in behavior analysis, psychology, education, social work, or a related field
- Strong understanding of Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS), Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs), and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with teachers, administrators, parents, and support staff
- Familiarity with data collection and analysis to track student progress
- Ability to adapt behavioral strategies to diverse student populations and needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct functional behavior assessments to determine student needs and plan appropriate interventions
- Develop, implement, and monitor behavior intervention plans to support student growth
- Train and consult with teachers and school staff on effective behavior management strategies
- Facilitate social skills development groups and provide individual student support as required
- Collect and analyze behavioral data to inform ongoing interventions and adjustments
- Attend meetings with families and multidisciplinary teams to discuss student progress and recommendations
- Maintain thorough, accurate documentation and reports per school protocols
