Step into a rewarding contract opportunity where your expertise as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) can make a meaningful impact across a dynamic school district near Irving, TX. This full-time position begins August 11, 2026, and continues through May 28, 2027, offering the chance to support students ranging in both general and special education, as well as to train staff and supervise RBTs.
In this itinerant role, you will travel between various schools, responding to the evolving needs of the district with flexibility and a solution-oriented approach.
Key Qualifications:
- Must possess an active Texas BCBA license
- Strong preference for candidates with prior school-based experience
- Experience with both general and special education populations
- Ability to provide insightful staff training and effective RBT supervision
- Must complete TEA fingerprinting if not cleared recently through another district (results required prior to start)
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct functional assessments and develop targeted behavior intervention plans
- Deliver direct support to students and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams
- Provide ongoing training and consultation for educational staff
- Supervise and mentor Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs)
- Adjust interventions as needed based on data-driven results and student progress
- Maintain detailed documentation and timely reporting
